2011 Plant Celebration & Garden Sale at the Centre Furnace Mansion.

Saturday, May 14, 2011
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Please join us on Saturday, May 14 for the Centre County Historical Society's annual Plant Celebration & Garden Sale at the Centre Furnace Mansion. There will be over 100 different kinds of perennials and annual flowers, herbs, and even small shrubs and trees. Gift baskets filled with a mix of perennials, annuals and herbs will be available. In addition to the plants for sale from the Centre Furnace gardens, there will be participating local businesses selling plants and garden-related items from their own booths, with a portion of their sales going to the Mansion gardens.

The Plant Celebration & Garden Sale is one of CCHS's largest fundraising events. Proceeds from this event are used toward grounds maintenance and garden supplies at Centre Furnace Mansion and Boogersburg School. As government funding decreases, special fundraising events like the Plant Celebration are even more critical than ever. We hope you will consider attending to enjoy the wide variety of plant offerings, the gardens and a tour through the Centre Furnace Mansion.

2011 vendors include:
